The quality of this "down" is very poor. Some years ago I had made my own pillows out of quality down and loved the result. It is a messy process to stuff a pillow with down, so after the excellent pillows I had stuffed wore out, after years of use, I tried the usual synthetics with mixed results. I decided to try it again and ordered this supposedly 700 fill down. Instead of getting a bag filled with large puffs of down, what was shipped seemed like the scraps left on the floor at the producers. 50% of the content were these slivers of feathers (1/2 inch long, maybe 1/16 inch wide) with no loft at all. The rest were mostly tiny puffs far smaller than what I had before.With some misgivings, I stuffed the pillow. Initially, it was reasonably comfortable. Soon, however, it lost most of its loft and felt lumpy and uncomfortable. Fluffing it helps for only a few minutes. What a waste of over $100!Frankly, this down is garbage. Don't waste your money. I consider this product grossly misrepresented. Quality down will feel like sleeping on a cloud and will last for years.
