I was tired of paying hundreds of $ to the original company to replace the carbon in my whole house filter, so I did a little research to figure out how much media I needed, and found this excellent deal. The stuff I removed from the filter was almost exactly the same as this product in size and consistency. I flushed the new media for about 15 minutes until it ran clear, and now my water quality is excellent once again. The product came well packaged and quicker than I expected. 5 stars!
