Wonderful pecans for snacking, baking and candymaking at a great price.Very fresh, good flavor and the price was good. I make probably 100 fruitcakes a year plus other holiday deserts so I use a lot of pecans in my cooking. They are expensive. I remember when us poor folk had to buy pecans because we couldn't afford walnuts. Now it doesn't matter, they are all expensive. Having them already chopped sames me time and works so much better than using halves in recipes, especially if you have cake pans that have sharp edges like the ones I use for fruitcakes.This is my second order of 10lb pecan halves. I use them to make baked butter pecan recipes. Freshness affects size as well as flavor. Baking requires well hydrated product to prevent burning prematurely even when simmering in butter. Great product, fast service. Customer care is top notch. I don't hand out high reviews often, but this company has demonstrated a sense of quality and integrity I find refreshing.
